Founded in 1990 by Ingo Winzer, Local Market Monitor began as a quarterly publication before making its way to the Internet. Ingo developed the National Review of Real Estate Markets, which analyzed conditions in 100 US Markets, using such economic data as home values, employment growth, and population growth. He developed the concept of Equilibrium Home Prices, which has proved valuable in assessing real estate market risk during the last two economic cycles.

Local Market Monitor continues to evolve in response to the needs of our customers and advances in technology. We've expanded our market coverage and refined our forecast models to enhance the value of our services. EXECUTIVE TEAM

Ingo Winzer, FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Ingo Winzer is President of Local Market Monitor, and has analyzed real estate markets for more than 20 years. His views on real estate markets are often quoted in the national press and in 2005, he warned that many housing markets were dangerously over-priced. Previously, Ingo was a founder and Executive Vice President of First Research, an industry research company that was acquired by Dun and Bradstreet in March 2007. He is a graduate of MIT and holds an MBA in Finance from Boston University. He resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Carolyn Beggs, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Carolyn Beggs focuses her attention on the day-to-day management of Local Market Monitor with responsibility for sales, customer support, marketing, and business operations. Prior to Local Market Monitor, Carolyn served as Director of Operations for First Research Inc, an industry research company that was acquired by Dun and Bradstreet in March 2007. While at First Research, she managed the finance and sales operations and was instrumental in the acquisition and integration with Dun and Bradstreet. Carolyn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Appalachian State University with a business degree in Economics. She resides in Cary, North Carolina.
